The Koi is a neighbourhood sushi bar and grill on Wye Road in Sherwood Park. Fish is portioned and cut through the day, rice is seasoned in small batches, and every roll leaves the pass the moment it is finished — never before, never long after.
Beyond the raw bar there's a full Japanese kitchen: tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen, crisp tempura, tataki seared to order, BBQ short ribs and teriyaki off the grill. Bluefin, hamachi and scallop specials appear whenever the day's fish is worth showing off.
